May 2026:

ADGT Community Update

Ardgour Glensanda Trust AGM Update – 13th May 2026

The Trustees were delighted to welcome members and non-members to this year’s AGM, held in Ardgour Memorial Hall.

The formal meeting followed a delicious community meal kindly provided by Ardgour Ales, which was enjoyed by everyone attending and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the evening.

In the Chair’s report, thanks were extended to all Trustees and to our two part-time self-employed officers for their hard work in raising the Trust’s profile, encouraging new membership, progressing priorities within the Ardgour Place Plan and supporting wider community activity across the area.

Special thanks were given to retiring Trustees Elizabeth Carmichael, Pete White and Tony Boyd for their many years of service, commitment and valued contributions to the running of the Trust. We are also very pleased to welcome Val Bremner, who was nominated and elected as a new Trustee at the meeting.

A review of the year’s progress was shared, followed by updates from our Development Officer on two of the Trust’s key current projects: the proposed affordable housing development at Clovullin and plans for the new MUGA beside the Primary School grounds. The updates generated lots of interest and positive discussion amongst those attending.

A full meeting of Trustees followed, with plenty of ideas, discussion and enthusiasm for the work ahead. We currently have two vacancies on the Board and would love to hear from anyone interested in getting involved as a Trustee or volunteer.

Glensanda Funding

We are still awaiting the first payment from the renegotiated Glensanda agreement and, subject to Trustees agreeing terms for grant awards, we hope to open a new round of funding applications shortly. Please look out for further updates.
