Corran Ferry Infrastructure – Community Liaison Meetings

Following the first community meeting, it was agreed that Community Liaison Meetings will now take place on the third Wednesday of each month for the foreseeable future.

Meetings will alternate between Ardgour and Nether Lochaber, although residents are welcome to attend whichever location is most convenient.

The next meeting will take place in Ardgour Memorial Hall on Wednesday 18th March.

February 2026

 A82 Corran Ferry - Northbound lane closure from 16 February

Traffic management will be in place on the A82 trunk road, just north of the Corran Ferry junction, from 16 February 2026 to support essential works linked to the Corran Ferry Infrastructure Improvement Scheme.

Works will take place in two phases:

Phase 1: 16 February to 6 March 2026

  • Tree clearing works

  • Northbound lane closure

  • Daytime hours only

After this phase, there will be a two week pause with no road restrictions.

Phase 2: 23 March – 24 April 2026

  • Construction of the new junction for the Corran Ferry Infrastructure Improvement Scheme.

  • Northbound lane closure

  • Daytime hours only
