October 2025 Trustee Update

Winter Suppers - More Info Coming Soon!

Our National Lottery funding for this round of Winter Suppers has been confirmed, with dates to follow soon. Keep an eye on social media for more information!

This year our volunteers and trusty catering teams will also provide two suppers in Treslaig Hall, in addition to Ardgour Memorial Hall. The planning group would love ideas for simple activities or games to run after the meals. If you’d like to run something or have a suggestion, please get in touch via enquiries@agdt.co.uk.

Ardgour Housing Needs Survey - now live (closes Sunday 16 November, midnight)

Is housing affecting you, your family, or your business? In partnership with Ardgour Community Council, we’re running a short, tick-box survey to identify housing needs across the Ardgour Community Council area: Locheilside, Ardgour, Clovullin and Kingairloch. We want to hear from first-time buyers, self-builders, growing families, downsizers and employers struggling to recruit because of housing.

Please take a few minutes to complete it and share with anyone who might be affected.
Find out more, and take part online at: www.ardgourcommunitiestogether.net/survey

Hard-copy surveys are available from Ardgour Memorial Hall, Treslaig Village Hall and Ardgour Inn reception. You can also request one by emailing enquiries@agdt.co.uk or speaking to any trustee.

Cearcall Còmhraidh Àird Ghobhar - Gaelic Conversation Circle

The Gaelic Conversation Circle continues monthly, offering a relaxed way to explore Gaelic language and culture through themed sessions, guest leaders and fun activities. Thank you to Eilidh Cameron-Sykes from Ballachulish, our October guest speaker!
Next session: Sunday 16 November, 3.00 pm at Ardgour Ales (or Ardgour Church if the weather turns).

Everyone’s welcome - whether you’re fluent, learning, or just curious!

Ardgour Hall Solar Project

We’re delighted to share that £15,000 has been secured from SSEN towards installing solar panels and battery storage at Ardgour Memorial Hall. This investment will help reduce running costs and improve sustainability, with work expected to begin in the spring.

Ardgour Area Fund - Now Open

The Ardgour Area Fund is open for applications, with £5,000 available this year for local community projects.

The fund is made possible through community benefit payments from Aggregate Industries’ Glensanda Quarry and is distributed by the Ardgour Glensanda Development Trust.
