Ardgour Glensanda Trust Community Update - June 2026

AGM Reflections

It was wonderful to see members and local residents come together for our AGM in May at Ardgour Memorial Hall. The evening began with a delicious community meal kindly provided by Ardgour Ales, before attendees heard updates on the Trust's work over the past year.

The AGM provided an opportunity to reflect on progress across a range of projects, including affordable housing at Clovullin, plans for the new MUGA beside the Primary School grounds, and wider community development activity taking place across the area.

This month, we're pleased to share a selection of photos from the evening.

Welcoming New Trustees

We would like to thank retiring Trustees Elizabeth Carmichael, Pete White and Tony Boyd once again for their many years of service and commitment to the Trust.

We are also delighted to welcome three new Trustees to the Board. Val Bremner was elected at the AGM, and we have since welcomed John MacInnes and Sharon Cameron. We look forward to working with them as we continue to support community-led development across Ardgour.

Ardgour Housing Project Update

The Trust continues to progress work on the Ardgour Housing Project and we would like to invite everyone to a community meeting on Wednesday 1st July at 7pm in Ardgour Memorial Hall.

This meeting will provide an update on the project and explore emerging proposals for housing at Clovullin in more detail. There will be an opportunity to hear from our Project Officer and Trustees, ask questions, and help shape the next stage of the project.

The meeting is open to everyone, and we would encourage anyone with an interest in the future of housing in Ardgour to come along.

Keeping in Touch

Don't forget that printed copies of our community newsletter are available to pick up from Ardgour Memorial Hall and Treslaig Village Hall. If you know someone who doesn't use social media or email, please help us spread the word by letting them know where they can find the latest community updates.
